Easter week Wednesday had Jackfish jumpin’ and the action was Hot and Heavy!
And what a great lineup of talented singers there was.  And captured on video.  Nice!

Tanya’s birthday group had a great time and didn’t miss a beat.  After a bit of coaxing and a bit….of drink, they sang a couple of songs and brought the house down.  And of course, who can forget the awesome performance of Kelsey McLeod singin’ “What a wonderful world” and soundin’ just like Louis. Women were even throwing themselves at his feet. Nice!

It was really good to see Jasmine there.   She curled in Taylor on Wednesday nights but now that curling is over she can come out and strut her stuff.

Bobbie graced the stage with a few songs and sounded great, as usual, and teamed up with Jackie for “Have mercy on me.”  And after a lot of coaxing, Terri (she’s real shy) gave in and sang Madonna’s “American Pie” and did great. You should sing more Terri.

The Charlie Lake Trailer Park Boys ripped up the stage with a couple of perfect performances, as usual.  You guys rock!

Darcy sang a couple of tunes.  She’s a blues singer and boy can she sing.  It was the first time she’s sang at one of my shows and I hope she shows up again.

Shalayne sang for the very first time on stage. At least that’s what she told me. But by her performances, she looks like she’s been singing for a while.  She sang 5 songs, so I’m thinkin’ she really enjoyed herself! Hope you start comin’ out on a regular basis.

The talented Karen was her vibrant self as usual. She’s beautiful to watch and is always full of energy when she’s on stage.  She knows a lot of songs and sings them all really good.  Her goal is to learn a new song every week.  It’s always such a treat for me to have her and her husband Charles show up at my shows.

And last but not least, the big guy, Todd. He’s got that Dean Martin style. Drink in one hand, mic in the other.  I like it.  And I get a chance to back him up on guitar and  harmonies. It’s a hoot!

Open Mic will be at Jackfish on Wednesday April 7th and April 21st. And what a great venue for all the multi-talented musicians and singers in our area. Join in on the fun on those dates.
